Hello Race Fans! The last two race seasons have been very enjoyable as I shared all the racing history and fun generated at New Smyrna Speedway and Orlando Speedworld. Lots of racing shared by friends, competitors in the spirit of triumph and failures. Many new friends and fans were gained and I will cherish the associations.It is now time to move on. With many other duties I have as Mayor of Holly Hill and other professional activities I now pass the track microphone to the able Mark Keeler who was so helpful during the last season. FASCAR This Week, the TV program which was my brainchild and project, will hopefully continue on with a new host.
Many thanks goes to a lot of people in their support. I hope I leave no one out. First, thanks to Terry Roberts who first asked me to fill in and to Robert Hart with whom I will miss our meetings. Thanks to the many track personnel who were a great team bringing you the program every week. Thanks to Bright House and to Brian Craven and Steve Chavarie and David Scarpa and the rest of the TV crew. Thanks to Jim Jones and to Nick and and all from Gordon Motorsports. Many, many long hours were used to bring you the coverage. Thanks to the racers who gave us continuous thrills.
Most of all, thanks to the fans with whom you made this more fun than work. I hope you will miss me as much as I will miss you all. Keep in touch.
